On the impact on India-Canada relations after Donald Trump was elected as US President, Canadian Journalist Terry Milewski said, "Trump is nothing if not unpredictable. He gets along very well with PM Modi and Modi has been very assiduous in peppering the incoming administration with praise and looking forward to working with his friend Donald Trump. I expect that regardless of the change of administration, more or less the only way out that I see is a grubby little deal...The outlines of a deal are pretty clear to me.
