Port of Montreal dockworkers reject employer's offer, paving way for lockout

The union representing some 1,200 dockworkers at the Port of Montreal has voted overwhelmingly to reject a deal with their employers' association. The association issued what it called its final offer Thursday, threatening to lock out workers at 9 p.m. Sunday if a deal wasn't reached.
