The three chiefs governing communities of the James Smith Cree Nation are Peter Chapman Band Chief Robert Head, Chakastaypasin Band Chief Calvin Sanderson and James Smith Chief Wally Burns. They say they're working hard to minimize trauma to residents as an inquest begins Monday into the mass stabbings there in 2022.
