On Tuesday, Canada's Deputy Foreign Minister David Morrison told a parliamentary panel that Indian Home Minister had links with attacks on Khalistani terrorists. The allegations followed the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June last year. Morrison also confessed to revealing these allegations to the media even before Canada accused India of involvement in Nijjar's killing plot. India rubbished Canada’s allegations as “absurd and baseless”.
