Uber Eats is creating a new Palestinian category after several Toronto restaurants were miscategorized as “Israeli” last weekend. The food delivery app confirmed Saturday it will introduce the new category globally in January, after coming under fire from restaurant owners and customers who noticed their establishments showed up under searches for “Israeli” despite not being Israeli restaurants.
