This Toronto man's Hot Wheels collection puts the pedal to the metal
Doug Woods started his Hot Wheels collection with his first car, a Beach Bomb, when he was four years old. In the 40 years since, it's only picked up speed. His stockpile includes both cars and accessories still factory-sealed in their original boxes. He says he's reached approximately 25,000 items in total. Though his collection outpaces those of many hobbyists out there, Woods says he's not interested in setting any records — he merely collects because he enjoys the cars and the community.
