The worlds of artistry and artificial intelligence collide
Artist and AI researcher Sougwen Chung has devoted herself to combining her skills in artistry and her study in artificial research and robotics in order to create unique pieces of art that can sell for tens of thousands of dollars. Chung developed and trained a neural network on decades of her own personal work to become a live collaborator in her art, observing her movements using a camera and operating different machinery to paint in tandem with her.
