The cost of drinking water in the Sunshine Coast community of Lang Bay is expected to soar again in 2024, after the owners of the private water utility applied to the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship to increase rates in order to cover repairs to what they describe as crumbling infrastructure.
