Snow-strapped ski club in Yukon shells out $15K to makes trails for training athletes
There hasn’t been much snow in Whitehorse this season, and Cross-Country Yukon is getting creative. About $15,000 dollars was spent to get some man-made snow. Head coach Graham Nishikawa says that these additional weeks of training could give Yukon athletes a competitive edge.
