Ottawa, Quebec pool $2.5B to build satellites for better internet in remote areas
The federal and Quebec governments are giving Telesat, an Ottawa-based satellite operator, a little more $2.5 billion in loans to help the company build its broadband satelitte constellation in an effort to connect people in the most remote areas of Canada to the internet.
