Ontario Liberals rule out provincial carbon tax as part of 2026 election platform
Ontario Liberal Leader Bonnie Crombie says if her party is successful in the next provincial election, she will not introduce a carbon tax. Premier Doug Ford's Progressive Conservatives have been spending a lot of time and money to tie her to the federal carbon price.
