New emergency shelter spaces open in Edmonton as temperatures drop

While the temperatures drop and the City of Edmonton clears encampments in the inner city, 50 new emergency shelter spaces are opening in trailers in the city's northeast. Supportive housing units are also opening in a former hotel on the same site for a total of more than 100 spaces.
