While the military strategy of D-Day is well known 80 years later, there is far less discussion about why so many young men fought. As Dawna Friesen explains, the 14,000 Canadians who were part of the Normandy landings were all volunteers who chose to go to war. Calls are only growing for the federal government to identify the MPs accused of "wittingly" assisting efforts of foreign states to meddle in Canadian politics. David Akin explains why the alleged colluders likely would never be charged and why Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc says naming them would be irresponsible. A water main break has caused Calgary's water levels to plummet to dangerously low levels, so the city is urging residents to conserve water.
