As Israel’s war on Hamas rages on, the number of Palestinians killed keeps piling up. On Sunday, Israel escalated its attacks, with the torment in Gaza growing for civilians. According to Gaza's Hamas-run Health Ministry, more than 25,000 Palestinians have died and more than 62,000 have been wounded since the latest wave of violence. The United Nations (UN) chief says the bloodshed is heartbreaking and that Israel's military operations have spread "mass destruction." The level of death, despair and displacement is unprecedented, and there is no end in sight to the fighting. Mackenzie Gray has the details. It's been almost two years since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, and now there are questions over who's responsible for a deadly blast in Russian-controlled Donetsk. At least 27 people died when a busy market was shelled. Russia's foreign ministry called it "a barbaric act of terrorism" against civilians, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there were “particularly severe Russian strikes” in the Donetsk region.
