Reports suggest that Israeli troops have moved into the southern half of Gaza. Israel has again ordered people to evacuate certain parts of Gaza for their own safety, but many residents feel there is nowhere safe left to go. Redmond Shannon had more updates on this. Meanwhile, the United Nations Climate Summit, COP-28, is underway in Dubai with a renewed urgency to tackle climate change and cut greenhouse gas emissions. However, the president and host of this year's summit is facing criticism for suggesting that there is “no science” behind the need to phase out fossil fuels. Plus, Loyal, a biotech company based in California, has cleared a major hurdle in their quest to bring the first-ever longevity drug for dogs to market. The US FDA found that the drug developed by the company had a reasonable expectation of effectiveness, making it a potential solution to the sad reality of pet ownership where it always feels like we're forced to say goodbye far too soon.
