Former NHL enforcer joins CTE study
Former NHL enforcer Chris ‘Knuckles’ Nilan has joined a study to learn more about the impact of contact sports on the brain, specifically the role of repeated hits to the head in developing Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) – which can only be diagnosed after death.
