Country Foods focuses on food sovereignty in northern Manitoba
Launched in the early 1990s, Country Foods was started after discussions in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation highlighted the need for food sovereignty. The mandate for the program is to gather and distribute traditional foods for people in the northern Manitoba community.
