Cost of living requirement for international students increasing

Starting January 1st, the government is raising the cost-of-living financial requirement for study permit applicants, to ensure that international students are better prepared for life in Canada.

Immigration minister Marc Miller held a news conference today, and said he expects all levels of government to get involved.
