Better than expected October U.S. CPI gives reason for a sigh of relief: senior economist
David Wilcox, senior economist at Bloomberg Economics and the Peterson Institute for International Economics, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss U.S. CPI data for October. On an annual basis, CPI rose 3.2 per cent, versus an expected 3.3 per cent. Wilcox says the trend toward slower inflation appears to have been restored after a discouraging report last month and the U.S. appears to be headed in the right direction once again on inflation.
