B.C. teen who helped save grandfather after hunting trip accident given Good Samaritan award
Carter and John Burkard were hunting in the Lake Cowichan area of Vancouver Island when their all-terrain vehicle rolled over. Carter, who was 13 at the time, managed to extract his grandfather from under the vehicle, and use their GPS device to call for help.
